Entertainment District

I aim to rejuvenate our Entertainment District through aligning this area with the adopted Vision Book. I want to ensure there is a space created that captivates visitors and encourages visitors to linger. Recognizing the districts unrealized potential, my dedicated efforts will cultivate an inclusive environment, offering diverse amenities for our residents and visitors. Addressing the community's questions and concerns about the districts improvements is a top priority, reflecting my commitment to shaping a prosperous future for the City and Entertainment District.

Affordable Housing
  • I am passionate about the people who work in our communities having access to a home they can afford. Creating a city that offers middle income and affordable workforce housing is vital to allow for a balanced and diverse community. While serving on the Planning Commission, I supported our first Affordable Housing site improvement project of 67 units to be built with close proximity to the light rail. Lone Tree has committed to supporting a total of 350 units in our city and I understand the importance of working together to accomplish this goal.

  • I plan to address the need for senior affordable housing, as we look to support the aging community here in Lone Tree.

Crime and Transient Travelers
  • Like communities all across our region, Lone Tree is experiencing a surge in crime, especially opportunist crime, like car break-ins and residential garage thefts. I want to make sure we are reminding residents and patrons to practice smart habits, such as removing valuables from cars and closing garage doors.

  • Serving on the Douglas County Homelessness Initiative has allowed me to engage with municipal partners to work on ways to reduce homelessness here in Lone Tree. Through partnerships, we have launched a successful program called HEART (Homeless Engagement, Assistance and Resource Team).

  • My work on the Planning Commission has taught me the importance of CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design). Ensuring we follow the CPTED process will help to lower crime rates in the future by making decisions about landscaping and building structure choices that will lessen places where crime could happen. I will make this a priority as we continue Lone Tree’s expansion.

  • I plan to support our programs that assist Lone Tree’s residents and businesses with tools and education on crime prevention.
